After shooting the roll which the following shots came from, I opened up the back of the camera before rewinding the film.  Although I lost the last few shots or so, the other images ended up getting a really cool effect.

Here are some images showing the shaped blank and the bottom after it has been glassed and hot-coated.  The board is only about 4'7".  The first four images were taken with the Nikonos V camera and a 28mm lens, and the last four were taken with the Sony Nex-5 camera and a fish eye lens.
